We voted on the rules, last year. Rules are for 2 years. No hanging weight. It's that simple.COTPC does NOT regulate the rules for cheater stock.

Yep! I agree snider. Why have 2 parts breaking classes. Before it's said weight is not the answer.

Just wanted everybody to know i just sold the family farm of 5 generations so i could build a cheater stock truck to TRY to win 150 bucks :withstupid: I always thought that the cheater stock class was 1 step above pure stock? MOST people these days dont have 2500 for a roller truck and 15000 for the rest .To TRY AND GET IN THE TOP 5 TO GET SOMETHING BACK to pay for gas and gate fees for the hole family? HELL there's so many trucks in this class now that aren't even street able .Why the need for tags and insurance ? :sleepy2:

Just to let everyone know COTPC does not want to make the rules or regulate them. What I would like are rules that are fair and the same at all our pulls. All we want to do is put on a good show for the fair boards and crowd. I don't care if you have hanging weights or not. If it is in the rules that is what I will go by. If you read the whole post it started by PT saying I might add Cheater Stock to year end points money. If you have any Questions call me at 740-837-0582 . Dennis Long

I'm not one to complain but the old Chevys of Anderson radigan and downs ought to weigh more than any of the the trucks out there and everybody ought to know that there is more metal in them. Ive beenwatching how much weight is in the beds of all trucks and I bet that if they hung weight most of the hiden weight would show up on the front. Weight on the front of a cheater stock is for people who can't stop bouncing or can't get it to the ground. If you hang weight it will be the pro street class two years ago. Might as while create another class!!!!

gotta love how people read the rules.....where does it say you need tags & insurance?????

p.s if you could get your truck to stop bouncing the first 150ft. you could be in the top 5

my truck doesn`t bounce.its hard to get it to bounce. maybe some of these guys with these huge hp. motors should just pay attention? i`m sure they all have video taped there trucks in action.its not all motor. p.s. there is no weight hid anywhere on my truck..any one who wud like to inspect it cud have as much time as they want to look at it ... i don`t mind.if there were true tech officials to police this then we wudnt be talkn about it. and no im not talking about u jason.i understand where you are coming from.. i personally dont feel a bit bad for the guy that has 800+ hp and cant get it on the ground thinking that lack of power was the reason for being beat. i wud like to see the class left exactly how it is forever..make people use their brains instead of their wallet. this is kinda funny in a way. i still like the 5500# idea! i really dont care about cube, carbs and especially heads!

Sorry there pt thought they were going to put the Gun Club on one of there stops :laughing3: License and registration is required at time of entry ? U helped with the rule there to didn't u ? Hay Enforcer i don't think Anderson's body is any heaver have u seen his DRIVERS DOOR ? 5500 LBS lets see who gets it to the ground? Looks like there is enough trucks with enough motor don't make it easy on them by hangen weight ! Let'em drive or build a chassie! I can see it now 6200 pound FORD ranger what would that be about 1400 pounds on the front !

I,ve been apart of the cheater stock class for three years now and I must say it sounds and looks like its headed in the same direction the other gas classes went. I hope Dennis does add us to his COTPC just for the fact it gives some of us alot more local hooks instead of driving halfway across the state. But if you want trucks and a good pull leave the class 6200# and no hanging weight!!! I thought thats what the trip to OB place was for last January. Why cant we leave things alone? If someone wants to cry about hanging weights then build a prostreet truck dont ruin our class. I think the majority of us are happy the way things are all we want is to get cheater stock at the COTPC pulls . Let me know any updates so I know to fix my junk or sell it!!!!!!!!!!!
